~A bit about myself...
.
I have always had a soulful connection with animals. Choosing at the age of 4 to become a vegetarian, although living in a family of meat lovers, I have shared a deep bond with animals all my life. At a young age, I felt I was talking with and hearing my own animals, as well as dogs in my neighborhood. Believing society instead of my own heart, I soon began to wonder if it was just my imagination.
From childhood, my younger brother and I had strong telepathy with one another, rarely having to speak to convey our messages. And although I didn't fully accept I was 'conversing' with them; nothing made me as happy as my childhood animal friends. I enjoyed the company of dogs, cats, gerbils, gold fish and even rats.
As an adult my love for animals only grew. I went from vegetarian to vegan and volunteered for many years with several animal rights organizations as well as animal rescue groups. I became the 'neighborhood rescue' taking in any and all needy animals, rehabilitating them and helping them find new homes. I have put myself in many compromising situations to help abused animals, but always accepting the risk without a second thought. Deep down, I knew my Angels would always guide me in the right direction and keep me out of harms way!
Since I began my down my path as a professional animal communicator, I have had the honor of studying under the best selling author and pioneer of interspecies communication; Penelope Smith. Currently, I'm working on writing my own book about my experiences as an animal communicator and a lifelong animal advocate. I have had a beautifully inspiring story of mine recently published in the 2010 winter issue of Species Link Magazine. Please click on the link to read my story titled "The Return Of Prince" on pages 6 through 8.
In addition to my work as a writer and communicator, I am also certified as a grief counselor, specializing in pet loss and bereavement. I am currently enrolled in courses on shamanism and parapsychology. I love learning, growing and expanding my knowledge to help others!
I am so blessed to have the unwavering support of my wonderful husband Steven. He inspires me to be a better person and motivates me to work through the difficulties I sometimes face with being an animal communicator. It takes a great deal of strength to deliver tough news to clients or help people through their grieving state, and I very much appreciate the support he gives me. He too, communicates with our animal family, and because of that we all share a rich bond and understanding of one another's needs and feelings. I also share a very special connection with my dog Prince, who has become an especially wise teacher for me. And through his death, I have come to accept and embrace my intuitive abilities.
I hope to bring you a deeper understanding of all that you would like to know about your own animal companion and a more harmonious relationship with one another!
